Little Sinner

“Slash ‘n’ dash your way through heaven while unlocking the path to God!”

The fourth project we got to work on at The Game Assembly was supposed to be a top down adventure game. Little Sinner was created over the span of six weeks using the school’s own custom game engine called The Game Engine or TGE.

We took inspiration from The Legend Of Zelda: Link To The Past to create a game where you play as a Little Sinner that has made their way up to heaven in order to fight and defeat god.

My Responsibilities

  • Implementation of GameObject and Component system

  • Transform Component

  • Skinned and non-skinned mesh components

  • Rendering manager

  • Shadow rendering

  • FMOD implementation

  • Audio sources

  • Audio listeners

  • Animation system

  • Asset Loading, loading animations, models, textures, sounds etc.

  • Final boss state machine

  • Trailer
